Minister Maria van der Hoeven of Economic Affairs has opened the hi-tech Advanced Packaging Centre (APC) on Monday 11th January 2010 . This was done during a visit of the Minister to the company Boschman Technologies in Duiven, The Netherlands.

The Advanced Packaging Centre (APC) is founded by Sempro Techologies, together with Boschman Technologies, Nedcard and Maser Engineering. The APC is an initiative from the Business Cluster Semiconductors in the East of the Netherlands. Seventy hi-tech companies, especially from Twente and Nijmegen areas, are member of this Cluster.

Minister van der Hoeven; "This kind of initiative from medium sized enterprises is what the Netherlands needs to get out of the economical crisis. It is a good example of entrepreneurship on regional level!''

The Advanced Packagingg Centre (APC) is an independant Technolgy & Development centre for MEMS, Sensors and advanced IC's packaging.

Minister Maria van der Hoeven van Economische Zaken heeft het Advanced Pacxkaging Center in Duiven geopend. Het Advanced Packaging Center (APC) is opgericht door Sempro Technologies bv in samenwerking met Boschman Technologies, Nedcard en Maser Engineering.

Het Advanced Packaging Center (APC) ontwikkelt micro-electra voor sensoren en chips. De electronica is geschikt voor extreme omstandigheden zoals bijvoorbeeld een oliesensor in hete motorolie. Het APC is een van de initiatieven van het Business Cluster Semiconductors Oost- Nederland, waarin zeventig bedrijven uit vooral Twente en Nijmegen samnewerken.
